Scarlett was not properly socialized from about 6 months to 1.5 years old. This caused her to be very anxious around strangers, other dogs, and in new situations, generally. Her anxiousness come out as aggressive behavior, with ferocious barking, lots of teeth and some fighting with other dogs. Even in our home, she didn't trust people and we couldn't have her unleashed with people in the house. We were ready to send her to a new home. Two weeks with K9 Coach, one at in-home training and the second as a boarder turned her around 180 degrees! Her training allowed her to go out into new situations without her previous nervousness. When she wasn't anxious, she wasn't aggressive, people and dogs were comfortable around her, which gave her the confidence to behave properly, mix and mingle. All of our neighbors have commented how she has changed, they love to pet her and visit, even when she's off-leash. Not only did we regain a socially-acceptable dog, but she obeys commands instantly, even for our 10-year old daughter. We cannot thank Jt enough for giving us this capability!
